Your Fidelity To Love
Your fidelity to Love, that is all you need.
No day will then match your strength.
What was once a fear or a problem will see
you coming, and step aside…or run.
Most of us associate fidelity with faithfulness to a person. But what if we sought the strictest fidelity to love? If we live each day with continuous (and possibly chief) loyalty to Love, this is all we need. From love we can derive whatever encouragement, confidence, compliment, or emotion we desire. This is primarily because love can be whatever we want (or need) it to be. To C.S. Lewis love was not a feeling nor a set of behaviors, it was a “steady wish for the loved person’s ultimate good as far as it can be obtained.”
