To increase the heart's power, it simply depends on who one turns the reins of life over to.
This is a very interesting statement, we get our power and sense of self-worth by the people and objects we turn the reins of life over to. It reminded me of how forgiving someone and releasing that person to God, frees us of judgement and burden. In a way, forgiving another is more about us. In bible study tonight the leader said something that I thought was a great way to look at forgiveness: "It is critical to realize at the onset that forgiveness is not the forcing or denying of feelings, but a promise to make and keep, despite feelings."
